NSW Gas Rebate

If you're an eligible concession cardholder using bottled LPG for your home, you could be entitled to a rebate on your gas costs through the NSW Government's Gas Rebate scheme.

To qualify, you'll generally need to be the account holder for LPG bottles over 45kg/88 litres, hold a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, Low Income Health Care Card, or DVA Gold Card, and use the gas for basic household needs at your principal residence.

Applying is straightforward; you'll need your concession card and bank account details, along with a recent printed copy of your gas bill. Once approved, the rebate is paid as a lump sum directly into your bank account, once per household per financial year.
